1. Pick Log miles
After the safety reminder, Business subscribers choose Log miles instead of Compete. Recording begins once you're moving — typically about 5 mph for a few seconds.
LaneReign Business · iOS · Closed beta
LaneReign Business is a separate recording mode in the same app — built for mileage, rental cars, and expense tracking. No factions, no capture XP, no leaderboard noise. Just distance, tags, and clean exports.

How it works
Business mode is opt-in every time you drive. Competitive sessions and log-miles sessions live in the same account but stay separate on the server.
After the safety reminder, Business subscribers choose Log miles instead of Compete. Recording begins once you're moving — typically about 5 mph for a few seconds.
Set a vehicle tag (work, rental, personal) and an optional note before or after the drive. Miles accumulate from trip start, not from map segments.
Download individual GPX/CSV files or run a bulk mileage export across date ranges — formatted for spreadsheets and expense tools.
Who it's for
LaneReign Business is for people who need distance records — not map rivalry. Plus is optional; Business stands on its own.
Track job-site miles with work tags and session notes. Pull a CSV at month-end instead of reconstructing trips from memory.
Separate client visits from personal errands with tags. Long retention means last year's Q4 is still exportable when tax season hits.
Log rental-car mileage in a dedicated mode that never touches competitive capture. Personal vehicle? Tag it differently on the next trip.
Two modes, one app
You choose the mode before each drive. Log-miles sessions skip capture XP and leaderboard updates entirely.
For car enthusiasts — capture roads, earn XP, climb leaderboards, and recapture rival territory.
For mileage and expense workflows — distance from trip start, tagged and exportable.

FAQ
No. Business is a separate tier. Plus adds enthusiast depth (unlimited history, crews, territory analytics). Business adds log-miles mode and long-retention exports. Many users will want one or the other — not both.
No. Log-miles sessions are recorded with competitive=false on the server. They do not earn capture XP or change competitive standings.
In Log miles mode, distance is tracked from trip start using the same GPS pipeline as competitive drives — but without segment capture logic. You get total miles for the session, tagged and exportable.
Per-session GPX and CSV, plus a bulk CSV export across date ranges (Business only). Exports include distance, timestamps, vehicle tag, and session notes where provided.
LaneReign is glance-only — set your mode and tags before you roll, then keep your eyes on the road. Never interact with the app while the vehicle is in motion.
